Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Implementation Engineer located in Nairobi County, Kenya. You will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with taking ownership of client implementation projects, from planning to delivery and post-go-live support; offering high-quality technical support to clients throughout the implementation cycle; and ensuring that project timelines are met.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Consulting Services
• Software Deployment and Configuration
• Quality Assurance and Testing
• Customer Support
• System Upgrades and Maintenance

Qualifications

• Experience with Java Technologies, Web application development using Core Java and JEE technologies JBoss, Apache TomCat, HTML 5, CSS.
• Knowledgeable in at least one of the relational databases (Oracle, DB2, or MS-SQL, MySQL).
• Good to have Server-side frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, Scala.
• Translating functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements.
• Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• Production support and performance engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
